The President of Amerivet, Richard Bergen, has an outstanding biography:
Rich began his Active Military Career in the US Navy 1976.He was in Attack Squadrons VA-122 and VA-146 and achieved the Rank of Petty Officer Second Class as an Avionics Technician.
He was stationed aboard the USS Constellation 1979-1980 during the US hostage situation with Iran in the Persian Gulf.
Rich’s Post Military Career has most recently included Quality International Imports where he was President. Prior to that, he spent 25 years in the electronics manufacturing industry working with Nortel and Microwave Data Systems in different capacities.
He is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology holding a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and an MBA in Manufacturing Management.
He resides in Ontario, NY with his daughter Stephanie. When he isn’t working he enjoys outdoor activities, home improvement, and writing.
Rich is a member of VFW Post 9483 in Webster NY.
